Easy to get fuel injector correction code settings and reset
1. Connect INLINE
Open the INLINE connector located on the front of the passenger seat, connect INLINE (note the connection direction), and connect the other end of the INLINE to the computer. Turn on the vehicle and turn the key to the ON position. Click to open the INSITE software. After the INSITE software opens, click on Connect to ECM.
2. Injector barcode settings
Stop the engine and connect INSITE service software to ECM;
Select “Advanced ECM Data” – “High Pressure Common Rail Injector Settings” – “New Bar Code”;
In the “New Barcode” field, enter the injector correction code for the corresponding cylinder. After the injector correction code has been entered, select “Apply” to proceed according to the procedure prompt until you see the message that the new correction code was successfully sent to the ECM.
3. Injector reset
After setting the injector barcode, enter “Advanced ECM Data”—“Injector Reset”;
Click to select the cylinder number of the replaced fuel injector. For example: To replace the 1-cylinder to 2-cylinder injector, just select the numbers “1” and “2”.
Click on the “Reset” button to reset the corresponding injector and follow the procedure prompts until you see the information that the injector has been successfully reset in the status bar
