The main components of diesel engine
The main components of a diesel engine generally include the body, crank connecting rod mechanism, distribution mechanism, fuel system, lubrication system, cooling system and electrical system.
- Engine block: it is the skeleton of the diesel engine to support and install other components, including cylinder block, cylinder liner, cylinder head, cylinder pad, oil pan, flywheel shell, timing gear shell, front and rear feet.
- Crank connecting rod mechanism: it is the main moving part of diesel engine, which can transfer the energy generated by fuel combustion to mechanical energy through piston, piston pin, connecting rod, crankshaft and flywheel. Includes crankshaft, connecting rod, piston, piston pin, piston pin spring, piston pin bushing, piston ring, spindle shingle, connecting rod shingle, thrust bearing, crankshaft front and rear oil seal, flywheel, shock absorber, etc.
- Distribution mechanism: it is to open and close the inlet and exhaust valves on time. Including timing gear, camshaft, tappet, injector rod, rocker arm, valve, valve spring, valve seat ring, valve guide, valve door lock block, inlet and outlet pipe, air filter, silencer, supercharger, etc.
- Fuel supply system: according to the needs of the diesel engine, regular and quantitative diesel fuel supply combustion chamber combustion. Including diesel tank, oil pipeline, diesel filter, fuel injection pump, fuel injector and so on.
- Lubricating system: lubricating oil is supplied to each moving friction pair, including oil pump, oil filter, pressure regulating valve, pipeline, instrument, oil cooler, etc.
- Cooling system: is the diesel engine work produced by the heat emission to the atmosphere. Including water tank, water pump, fan, water pipe, thermostat, water filter, fan belt, water thermometer, etc.
